Yoga
Instructors

There
are many famous yoga instructors but there is a next generation
that has come up and will always be coming up. Their backgrounds are
sound and often trained by known teachers such as Swami Sivananda.
We like to work with yoga instructors that have an added background
of other physical teachings, i.e. Pilates, Tai Chi, Ballet, Marshal
Arts or having been a professional athlete, just to name a few.
To know ones body we can not be too one sided but have to learn several
philosophies of different disciplines. It broadens our horizons an understanding
of all that is living, uniting the human-kind.
The yoga instructors who are displayed below are carefully chosen
for their personalities and experience.
If you know of yoga instructors you think is unique and would
like to see them on this list, please do not hesitate to contact
us..
It is always a pleasure to expand our network.

Victor
has been practicing and teaching yoga for the past six years. He draws
his influence from various styles of yoga from classical to modern from
all his teachers. His style is goal oriented and precise. He believes
in sequencing the practice to achieve specific goals. At the same time,

the two extremes will one be able to come back to the "middle".
Therefore, Victor emphasizes on being awareness of the changes that
takes place in the practice and being in the moment.

a teacher training with Bryan.
Soon after that, Mona started to teach Power yoga in Santa Monica,
saying goodbye for good to her corporate life that was engulfing her
since a long time. (17 years!)
One year later, 1988, Mona did an other teacher training but this time
with Ana Forrest.

her own garden of Eden in Koh Lanta, an island in the South of Thailand.

Violet
has been practicing Yoga,
Pranayama and Meditation for 20 years after having a transcendental
experience at the age of 20.
Her curiosity then of the metaphysical led to the AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A
YOGI and the Self Realization Society .
Working for many years as a professional model, living in New York City,
then Toronto, traveling around the world, rendered a very fast paced
busy existence.
Given her career in the Fashion Industry, health and fitness was always
a key issue in Violet's life. She studied dance at the 'George Randolf
Dance School' in Toronto, Ontario.
Meditation and Pranayama (study of Vital Breaths) led to a deeper study
and practice of HathaYoga Postures (Asanas) at age 24.
The birth of her son in 1992, was then the final step on the path to
true 'self-realization'.
Combining
the various aspects of meditation, breath, strength, Kundalini and Taoism,
Violet founded a new system of Yoga and calls it ' RAJAFUSION'. ©
2003-/Y.I.N..
Classes are approached from a 3-fold nature - Spirit, Mind, and Body.
They are primarily 'Vinyasa Flow' (movement and breath). Various esoteric
truths and Yogic Darshan (in-sight) are learned in the Rajafusion classes.
Violet is the founder of Yoga
In Niagara
and The
Canadian Yoga Alliance.
She is also the North American Secretary for the International
Yoga Federation.
Traveling with Violet as our yoga instructor is an inspiriting experience
with a lot of love and joy.

Putu
is from Bali, which is the only Hindu island in Indonesia and was exposed
to the teaching of the Begawan Gita at an early age. He had his awakening
experience in 1990 which brought him more questions than answers. Later
in life he found out that this experience is what was given to him to
pass on to the human kind and all that is living.. His search brought
him to studying transcendental mediation from Maharishi Mahes yogi.
Experiencing the body as simply the body and the mind to be one with
all ,enabling to leave the body at free will.
The
practice of yoga simply followed with the understanding of the mind
in conjunction with the breath hence the asanas came into regular practice
since 1999. Knowing that he wanted to become a teacher in Sivananda
Radja Yoga he started to work to save up for his studies to become a
certified teacher, which he became in early 2007. Putu teaches with
a huge understanding of the anatomy and the mind, coming from each class
as a new person.
